RegistrationExcursions in Tartu Observatory last for about 2.5 hours and during that time the visitors will be shown around the observatory and get a chance to explore astronomy-themed displays. The most popular part of the excursions is the virtual planetarium program which helps the visitors to explore and understand the sky - the movement of stars on the celestial sphere according to the geographical location of the observer on the Earth, but also planets, their movements etc. And of course there is a chance to see our 1.5 meter telescope and to observe the sky when it gets dark.
